CHESS AFICIONADOS SAVE DECEMBER 13-15 FOR LINDSBORG

World chess champion Anatoly Karpov will be in Lindsborg to participate in scheduled chess events at the Karpov Chess School December 13-15.

On the 13th, he will interact with students and give opening remarks at a scholastic chess tournament that is expected to draw competitors from Kansas and the Midwest.

Karpov and other top-rated grandmasters will play in a special tournament December 13-14. Grandmaster Ulf Anderson from Sweden also has been invited to the Swedish Capital of Kansas for the tournament.
