SMOKING IS A KILLER

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is sponsoring a new telephone hot line to provide help to smokers who want to quit.

The agency launched the Kansas Tobacco Quitline on Thursday. The number is 1-866-KAN-STOP, or 1-866-526-7867.
